Radiation Hazard Awareness Training

Everyone must complete the following training:

• Radiation Hazard Awareness Training

If you are occupationally exposed to radiation, please select the applicable category. Based on the additional trainings you complete, dosimetry badges will be issued if necessary.

• Do you work in, or frequent any area where radiation-producing machines (radiographic x-ray, fluoroscopy, etc.) are used?

  Do you energize, operate, or supervise the use of radiation-producing machines? And are you a certified radiologic technologist, certified nuclear medicine technologist, or X-ray technician?

  Pick whichever choices apply to your job:

  • Do you care for individuals who have been administered radioactive materials?
  • Do you handle, or supervise the handling of, radioactive material in Nuclear Medicine?
  • Do you handle, or supervise the handling of, radioactive material in Radiology Oncology?
